What is KISJax?

Keepin’ It Safe Jacksonville (KISJax) use new media tools (such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) and strategies to promote substance abuse and HIV prevention messages to African-American, Caucasian, and Hispanic women and men, ages 18-44 who are at-risk for substance abuse and HIV. KISJax relies on the use of peer mentors and coaches to recruit and market the KISJax Campaign to the populations of focus.

KISJax’s goal is to create a safe, confidential place to receive information and education about substance abuse and HIV prevention.
